Lord Dhanvantari at Healin' Temple

OM DHANVANTARAYE NAMAHA
'I bow down to Lord Dhanvantari'
This is the prayer offered. The statue is kept near the entrance, in the north-east corner.
Dhanvantari (also Dhanwantari, Dhanvanthari) (धन्वंतरी) is an avatar of Lord Vishnu from the Hindu tradition. He appears in the Vedas and Puranas as the physician of the gods (devas), and the controller (god) of Ayurvedic medicine. Lord Dhanvantari was an early Indian medical practitioner and one of the world’s first surgeons. The worshippers do pray to Lord Dhanvantari asking him for improved or good health for themselves and/or others.
May God bless us all with good health!

O2 Zone

Last week, we went to a beautiful place called as Khanvel. It is about three hours drive from Mumbai. About 25 km from there, we drove to this lovely village called as Dudhni. Here, we went boating on Daman Ganga river just an hour before sunset. The place looked so majestic. Cool air. Water. Expanse of the place around was very mesmerising! I call this time as O2 time. It feels so good to breathe clean air! Stay quiet and listen to Nature sounds!

Zeenews Program

Zeenews channel showed an entire episode of 30 minutes on Healing Power Of Flower Remedies. The response was very good. It created a lot of awareness amongst people about gentle ways of healing. When I get the video, I will upload it here some parts of it.

Yaga classes already started....it is the best way of 'Body Meditation'!

A nice poem by Kabir....thought to write it down here.

Do not go to the garden of flowers!
O Friend ! go not there;
In your body is the garden of flowers.
Take your seat on the thousand petals of the lotus,
and there gaze on the Infinite Beauty.

Ashoka Flowers

The last weekend was spent at my brother's very nice organic farm at Umergaon. This is the picture of Ashoka flowers. Right now, it is in full bloom. It is called as Saraca Indica. A very popular ayurvedic medicine is prepared from this tree, called as Ashokarista.
We use the Ashoka flower remedy for persons, who are experiencing very deep seated sadness. For dark depression, grief, aversion to do anything in life- this flower remedy may help. Ashoka in sanskrit means without grief.
